Hi all, I went to duet last night, FH and I absolutely loved the photographs and all the albums. I was just a little disappointed with the video. I know a few other girls on the board have mentioned this. Is everyone happy with their videos who booked with Duet? It is so tough picking a photographer. I would prefer not to book the video with a second vendor .......please share some advice.
Also how to I get my profile picture to come up when I post a message? Thanks

We booked Duet for photo only, we felt the same way you did, we loved the pictures, but weren't really crazy about the video. We booked Timeless Treasures for video!

I did not book them at all because of certain issues but I did love the photos not the video too, but I guess you can always book your video somewhere else

It's funny, I have heard some brides mention that they did not like Duet's video, but I liked it better than some others I've seen. I also think they took more care into the presentation and packaging of it.
I didn't book Duet, but when I went to see them, I did like their video.

I booked Duet on the spot, not just for the pictures but for the video too. We really liked the style of it. I hate traditional wedding videos. Duets style is little bit like a movie...I really liked it but I guess everyone has different tastes...

I booked Duet on the spot too. I had seen most of their work on here, LIW and then seeing their albums and prices....I couldnt say no. I wasnt thrilled w/their video but that JMO and I knew what I wanted and had in mind. I went w/an unknown videographer my FSIL used and it cost me another $2500.
Depends what you are looking for.......all about preference.......Dosent mean they arent good. Understand that they are photographers and add video to their packages. If you go see just a videographer...ex: Wild Rose. you can see the difference in their work.

Thanks girls for the advice, I absolutely agree it really is down to preference, we all like different things. I new I wasn't sure about the video because it kept me up last night thinking over what to do, hence I was on the board so early this morning!

I have duet for photo and timeless treasures for video too, it doesnt matter at all... go with who you like!

I looked at Duet and also liked pictures and not too fond of the video. I am still looking at photographers though so I am not much help!

We also booked Duet for both pix and video,but I must agree and say that it is simply what you are looking for and one's taste. I loved Duet's video, being that it is like a movie, and also in comparsion to other ones that we had seen!

i booked both. i just love them and their presentation of everything. thats one persons video, if u have a vision of something else tell them, they are very flexible.

My FH and I both liked the video. Better than a lot of the others that we saw. My only concern was the spliting of the music in between scenes. Good luck finding the one! P.S. I wanted to book timeless treasures too he was booked for my day

my sister used them in march 04 and her video is amazing. it was so beautiful!!! so me and FH booked them right away was one of the first things that we booked!!!!
