Help with engagement announcements

I am taking E-pics Sunday (thank God for a good forecast!).
Anyways, I wanted to email them. Are there any templates I can use online to make an e-announcement you can recommend? I am computer savvy so it will be easy...

Also, should I mail them out too?
It's just the old folks who are not online.

A lot of family do NOT know we got engaged (esp my side ; we are not close).

(I think evite sends announcements as well as invitations.) You can take an E pic of you and FH and share just that pic or the album with friends and family announcing the great news. I used Snapfish and created an album of when we got engaged on vacation then sent that out.
