Help with finding a birthday gift for someone who loves gadgets

I need a birthday gift for a very close friend. He loves gadgets, outdoor grilling, cooking.

I thought about grilling tools, but he has all that.

Any suggestions?

what about one of those vacuum pump marinators(sp?).... they marinade in like 20 minutes then you could throw it on the bbq

How about a branding iron? Heres a link to one that has letters and college teams, but I have seen a set some where that just has 'M' 'W' and 'R' for medium well and rare, so if he makes a bunch of steaks each is marked.
