Help with finding Rehearsal Dinner Places!

Help with finding Rehearsal Dinner Places!

My wedding is 3 months away and we have been so busy we haven't had a chance to even think of places to have our rehearsal dinner. FMIL is paying for it (I think, it wouldn't be the first time she changed her mind on helping us with the wedding! She's done it about 3 times now on different things). FMIL says she knows someone, sort of, who owns a restaurant in New Hyde Park who might be able to cut her a deal. Usually when she says things like this, it doesn't work out (from my observations). She hasn't even thought about looking into booking a place for the dinner. She thinks it can be done last minute and at a total bargin.

Can anyone suggest a nice place in western to central Nassau (but not Queens) for a rehearsal dinner with about 30 people? My church is in Franklin Square. FH and I have to do some looking ourselves before we speak to FMIL. We'd like a place that isn't too expensive. THANKS!!! Your help means so much!

We had our rehearsal dinner at Harper's in New Hyde Park. It's a great place and the food is excellent!
We paid about $25.00 pp!
Let me know if you want more info!

I love Cardinis in Lake Success.Their food is unbelievable especially their penne ala vodka and their chicken francaise.

OMG I think that is the place that FMIL was talking about! Could you please tell me more about it? We'd consider it even if she can't get a deal.

I had mine at the Wantagh Inn. Great prices, service and food and you get your own room upstairs with a bar and private bathroom.

We are thinking of having ours at the Lucky Duck in Garden City. The food is great!

Why not try Filomena's? in Franklin Square? or King Umberto's on Hempstead Turnpike?
