Help with flowers!!

Help with flowers!!

So my colors are red, white and black, and I wanted my bo-ks to be red roses, white lillies, and a couple of carnations for color. I recently attended a wedding were the bo-ks were similar- and I hated them! They looked really cheesy- I don't know if the florist just didn't do a good job, or if this was a bad combo-

anyone doing red/white bo-ks and can tell me what other flowers I can use? Thanks!!

My colors are red and white... I'm going to carry deep red roses with some green in it. I forgot what the roses were called (I don't have a green thumb at all). My girls will be carrying white roses with some red flowers in it.

what about red roses with stephanotis? if you have red roses, what other color are you looking for?

I carried an all black magic rose bouquet (see avatar).

My girls carried vendella roses (slightly off white) with burgandy calla lillies.

Sorry it's a little blurry, it was a non-pro pic!

The combo sounds nice: you can have lilies with the red stripes in them, roses are always beautiful & the right florist should be able to place them correctly so that the shape of the arrangement is nice. Little red berries can also add a bit of an interesting shape.

I'm doing red & white: at first I told my florist types of flowers, but on second thought, I'm leaving much of it up to him: why dictate: THEY should be the specialist.

You could add callas or stefanotis (small white flower). They look nice together!
