Can anyone explain to me how weddings here work? We are booked and everything, but who do we call when we have questions? I want to see if I can bring in my parents to see the place.
Thanks ladies!!

Re: Help with Fox Hollow
theres a Fox Hollow thread on here that lists out everyone's wedding date. Look for that and then FM the bride that is on Jan 27.
This happened to me too though, was Charlie your BM? Now when I call with questions, I usually get forwarded to Jen

Yes!! We had Charile! And the receptionist I just talked to said we speak to Jen when we have to deal with menus and details, but since our wedding is over a year away, we should still be talking to a BM till its closer to the wedding. Im just gonna call back in a bit and try to get a bM on the phone.

Re: Help with Fox Hollow
See Im worried cus my parents flight doesnt get in till the afternoon. We can get there before 6, but Im not sure if someone would be having an earlier reception. And I feel bad if they come all the way from maine and can't see it. Bu they have to book their flights today. And they want to have dinner there as well. Its kinda hard planning all this stuff with parents from out of town.

The receptionist shouldn't care WHY you want to speak to a BM. SHe should either connect you to one or take a message and have one call you back. Why haven't you been able to speak to any BMs there? I would call and INSIST on speaking to a BM or having one call you back SINCE YOU ARE BOOKED THERE AND WANT A CONTACT. This is insane.
I would call back and say, 'Hi, I've booked my wedding at your establishment and the BM I have booked with is no longer with you. I need to speak with a manager right away. I've called several times and I'm tired of getting the run-around from you every time I call. I want to speak to a manager immediately.' If one isn't immediately available, tell her you want a call back within the hour. Period. Tell her that you refuse to be treated so rudely, as you are a client there and are spending thousands of dollars on your wedding there. If she refuses to put you through to a BM, ask who is the head of the establishment (above the BMs) and insist to speak to that person. Basically, call back and tell her you've had it - she's putting you through to a BM and you're extremely upset by the way you've been treated. KEEP YOUR COOL, but BE FIRM!
Good luck. Wish I could call for you!

My parents are from out of town and are comming to NY for a day and want to see the place, but the receptionist told me they can't guareentee they will be able to see my room. But I think since they are paying thousands of dollars to the fox hollow, that they have a right to see the room. All they want to do is peak their heads in for like 15 seconds. Any chance anyone on here is having their wedding in the winter garden pavillion on Jan 27th? They wouldnt tell me if anything is going on or what times things are going on so we can't plan when to drop by so not to inturrupt anything.
Thanks ladies!!
Weekdays are your best option. I would call just before you leave and ask if you can meet witha BM, you had a question about your contract and your person is no longer there. Tell them it's very important!!

I hadn't read the update but I agree with this! They don't get the next payment until you speak with someone!!!

That's not cool-they should definetly let you take a look. Weekdays are usually better though.

Re: Help with Fox Hollow
Weekdays are better because they do both day weddings and night weddings!!
ETA: I'm in the WGP and we were able to peak from overhead!
