HELP With Gown

I want to plan were to have my gown Preserved. I was thinking of sending it to CT to a place called Orange Restoration. Is anyone sending there gowns out like this. If not do you think it is a good idea. They seem to be a huge place specializing in this. What do you think??

Re: HELP With Gown

Call the BBB in that area and see if there are any complaints. Also post this on www.weddingchannel.com, local, CT and NY. THose girls may have opinions of the place. I know many local places will do preserving also. Here is one thing to be aware of. Some have the dresses perserved in boxes that do not have a 'peak' window (which is just a clear plastic area so you can see your gown). BE AWARE of that. You will not know that your gown is in that box. Things happen and someone could hand you a box with your name on it but the wrong gown. You need to verify that you will be able to see the dress in the box.
