Help with Honeymoon!

OK, FH and I are undecided as to where to go on our honeymoon. It's either Hawaii or Tahiti. We went to see a travel agent and had two packages put together.

For Hawaii it we would stay at the Kapalua Bay Hotel in Maui for 5 nights. Then the Hyatt Regency in Kauai for 5 nights.

If we go with Tahiti, it would be 5 nights at the Sofitel Resort in Bora Bora and 4 nights at the Pearl resort in Moorea.

Has anyone stayed at any of these hotels? Any thoughts on these islands? I have my heart set on Tahiti but my FH wants Hawaii. He thinks he'll get eaten alive in Tahiti by bugs! TIA!

man,,,I just have to say Im jealous,,,tahiti is a place Ive always wanted to go..we chose mexico because neither of us have been and its close and cheap, tahiti ..man....im jealous!!!

tahiti all the way!!! personally i felt that hawaii i could do anytime later on but tahiti would be an amazing experience .. and why not do that for our honeymoon. lol bugs will NOT eat you alive! just remember to take off and when you get out of the shower just spray it on yourself along with your suntan lotion. make it a morning ritual and you'll have NO bug bites .. i promise
