I gotta tell you, this has really been frustrating! We have set a budget for transporting hotel guests to and from RH and every quote we get is WAYYY over budget. We need to transport about 15-20 guests, about 15-20 min distance, and apparently there is some law in Westchester about some special licenses for driving this many people. Looks almost like a monopoly of sorts. And to make matters worse, most places will not let us book per trip, we would have to book them for 7 hours!!! I would REALLY appreciate any suggestions you guys may have. Did anyone else with Westchester weddings run into the same problem? Thanks in advance...

I am about to contact this van company called Classic Transportation.. You may want to google them. just a basic van that picks everyone up and drops everyone off.. Check it out! They usually transport people to airports..

Have you booked your limo company yet? Some limo companies have shuttles or work with companies that have shuttles that do pick up drop off type services rather than booking for blocks of time. The lowest I've been quoted for pick up drop off was around $800 before gratuity so it's definitely not cheap!

Thats what I was going to suggest. We picked a hotel that has transportation to and from for this exact reason.

THanks girls! Unfortunately we are not getting a limo because the women of the wedding party have to be at the RH so much earlier than man, and my FILs are from out of town, they just decided to rent two cars to bring the wedding party over at two diff times. Now the WP's significant others have to be brought over from the hotel and back. That was the only issue... Maybe it would be cheaper to just get cabs, we were quoted 30$ one way... The van we were quoted was close to 1000$. Pricey!
