help with invitation wording

help with invitation wording

I have been looking all over trying to find ideas for our invitations.
We are the 'hosts'. This is a second wedding for both of us and we want to also include our children on the invitation but they are not babies. Most of the ones I see talk about creating a new family which just doesn't fit. Our children are all between 23-17 (I know, I am the old lady here!) and starting to go out on their own.

I was hoping to come up with something more creative than the standard:
bride & groom, together with their children.....

Would it help anybody's creativity to tell you that we have ALL BOYS! That's right 5 boys!

What about something like 'with the blessing of their home grown baseball team...'

Haha jk. But what about 'with the blessing of their sons'.....

Re: help with invitation wording

I just saw this on yahoo answers. I thought it was pretty nice.

John, Jeff, Jane, and Jack are pleased to announce the marriage of their parents:

Jane Doe
and
John Doe

blah, blah, blah
