Help with invitations please

When should I send out my invites for our 10/13/07 wedding? Also how much time for the RSVP? Any help is appreciated....

I would send them out at the end of August and have them RSVP by the middle of September. You want to give yourself sometime to count and for last minute responses

I would send them out asap! You would want at least 3 months time to rsvp.... and for people to mark the date down asap.

I sent mine out 8 weeks before and made the RSVP date 4 weeks before the wedding date. It gives people a month to get it together and RSVP.

I'm sending mine out at the end of July. RSVP Sept. 1st.

I sent mine out 10 weeks before and the RSVP date was 5 weeks before.

We got married 10/14/06 and we sent them out the 2nd week in August.

Sorry to say, but 3 months is WAAAAY to early to mail invites!

In NY we mail invitations 2 months before the wedding date. Out of NY invitations are commonly mailed 6 weeks before the wedding date.

So your timeline should be ....

Wedding Date 10/13
RSVP Date 9/13
Mail Out Date 8/13
