Help with Invite Wording - need your opinions

Help with Invite Wording - need your opinions

So we are going with the following type of wording:

Mr. and Mrs. John and Diane Bride
and
Mr. and Mrs. Jack and Gina Groom
request the honor of your presence
at the marriage of their children
Kristen and Michael

His mom says to drop the Mr. and Mrs. but I think that sounds a little casual

Anything I can put instead of 'request the honor of your presence'

FH is no help - what do you ladies think?

i think its sounds great! but the grammar of 'at the marriage of their children' i think is incorrect... i think it should be 'for' the marriage of their children oor 'of' the marriage of their children

I say keep the Mr. and Mrs.

as for replacing 'request the honor of your presence' why not 'invite you to share in the joy at the marriage of their children' or something like that?

I like the wording as is. I think you should keep the Mr. and Mrs. and 'at the marriage' is correct.

I have seen something to the effect of 'request the pleasure of your company in celebrating the marriage of...' instead of 'request the honour of your presence' if you'd prefer something different.
