HELP WITH LIMO PLEASE!

HELP WITH LIMO PLEASE!

So I was planning on not getting a limo because I live 4 minutes away from my RH and we are getting married there so there is not much traveling to do...other than go to the beach for pictures before the wedding if it is a nice day.
BUT my bridal party and family really want me to get on so I am considering it.

CAN YOU LADIES PLEASE POST HOW MUCH YOU ARE PAYING FOR YOUR LIMOS, WHAT YOU ARE GETTING AND WITH WHAT COMPANY?

It would help so much!!! Because I have no idea what to expect when I start calling around! Thanks! Thanks!

some of the most popular limo companies are Royalty and Camelot (both of whom are vendors on this site)

We booked with Royalty, and they list their prices on their website.

All limo companies charge an extra 20% gratuity plus taxes, but maybe you can negotiate for a better price that includes all that.

we used Sir Oliver and could not have been happier with them. Some companies have rates based on time, others based on distance, so I think you will just need to call around and find out what you can get. Be prepared though with a bit of an 'itinerary' and timeline before you call though, as they will ask for that and base their quote on that as well as other factors.

Charlie at Dynasty is amazing. He gave me a great deal on our two limos. Give him a call. He is a part of Village Bridal.

20% tip is always added, but they should never charge you tax on a limo. They are not taxable.

I don't know where you live, but I'm using Ultimate Class Limos in hicksville. They were recommended by a friend and gave a decent price. Tell them Melissa sent you! FM if you want more details.

Also, I've heard that RJ's (i think that's the name) in Wantagh is reasonably priced as well.

Thanks girls! I will try to figure out exactly what I need and give them a call.
Has anyone else used any other company?

you shouldn't have been charged tax...they are providing you a service and it's illegal for them to charge tax...same goes for DJ's

You're right...FH handled the limos, and I asked him to check the contract, and there's not even a space for tax. Sorry about that.

off topic --but are photographers OK when they charge tax? I think yes because they are giving you a finished product?
Because mine did- and I thought it was weird at first.

Anyways- any more good limo companies out there?
