So I finally booked my hair trial for next Saturday. I also made an appointment at the bridal salon to try on the sample of my dress since mine won't be in until the end of the month. Unfortunately they sold the sample of my dress. They have one that is very similar so I can try my veil and tiara with that dress. The top is a little different but the bottom is basically the same. Now my question....I want to do my makeup so I'll have the complete look. What colors do you think I should do? TIA

Re: Help with make-up
I picked #4, but I'm not sure how I feel about having such a light silvery color right next to your pretty brown eyes.....but then again I suck at make-up, so I'm probably not the best person to respond.....so helpful, I know haha....

Re: Help with make-up
I voted for 4.......I also like 1 (if your colors are more pastely, I'd say you can get away with either. Needless to say, ALL the pictures are great and you'd look amazing with any one you choose!

Both 1 & 4 are very nice.
The one with the green is cute too, but not for a wedding.
Good work!
I was considering doing my own make-up also, I've done a couple weddings, sweet sixteens, but I'm afraid that nerves will get the best of me....

yea...I won't do the green...I just threw that in there because I was wearing all black to a holiday party and wanted a little color.
I know what you mean about the nerves. I have always done my own makeup and have done numerous brides for their special day. I only had my makeup done once by someone else and totally hated it. So I will just pray that I'll be okay that day to do my own!

Well the eye makeup is mostly MAC with the exception of the liquid eyeliner and mascara which are Estee Lauder...the foundation and the bronzing powder are Estee Lauder as well.

LOL Do you use a sponge eyeshado applicator or do you use brushes? I feel like with a brush it takes me forever to get dramatic results...

I use a sponge applicator for the base and a brush for the contour.

Re: Help with make-up
Anna, you look so pretty in every pic but I think #4 is my fav. You really are so talented and if it wasn't for the fact that you are getting married the day after me I would force you to do my make up for the day of and then be a guest at my wedding so we can hang out and look fabulous together all night.

Re: Help with make-up
I think they are all very pretty and you are obviously very talented and artistic, but I'm not so sure they were wedding looks. To me, they look a bit bright. That's just my opinion though and it also could be the lighting. Try playing around with some other more neutral color combos. That's just my suggestion though- of course you will do what you want and you look very pretty in each.
