I know there's no smoking in any reception sites, but I've always been big on collecting matches from any special places we go, so I wanted to have matches for our wedding to keep...
Plus, I plan on having a box of cigars behind the bar for guys I work with who smoke them to be able to go out on the beach deck to enjoy...
I think I finally found a site with a decent price for match books/boxes, with a design that I really like!
Matchbooks - $16 for 50 Matchboxes - $18.50 for 50
My question is... matchbooks or matchbooks...??
AND... how many for a wedding where I'm expecting anywhere from 140 to 170 people?
It's not the favor... they're already getting a Christmas ornament and a candy buffet as the favor... this is just a little special touch.
What do you think?

Matchboxes are classier. I would get around 200.

Then that's over $75 on an extra 'touch'... do you think I really need one for each person attending... or can I aim for the each 'couple' route and just order 100? I'd rather just order 100 and keep a bunch in a bowl at the bar, and if you get them, good for you! If not, 'sorry!'. lol

I ordered the boxes because I think they are easier to use (I don't smoke but do use them for candles) and look nicer. I am going to put them on the bar. I ordered 100 boxes for 140 guests.

The knot wedding shop has 100 personalized matchbooks for 25.99 -not sure if they are as nice as yours, but i'd think they were cool if I were a guest a wedding.

oh ok....I didn't realize you weren't going to put them on the tables....in that case, 100 is plenty!!

I personally like MatchBOXES better and you def. do not need one per person- I would think 75 -100 is fine...not everyone will take them...

I wanted a palm tree on them, since that's what's on my Christmas ornament, and they're one of the few sites that not only had that, but had one I LIKED!
