Help with Menu wording

Hi. I am doing my menu for my wedding myself. I need help with the Desserts. I am trying to save some room so I am not being too wordy.

We have:
cake
miniature Italian cookies and pastries
Espresso and cordial bar
coffee etc.

how can I sum that up?
Any ideas?

Re: Help with Menu wording

I would just do this:

Dessert:
Wedding Cake
Miniture Italian cookies and Pastries
Cordial bar, Espresso

People know coffee and tea will be served.

Re: Help with Menu wording

I would take out 'miniture'. I don't think it's necessary, but that is just my opinion. I would do:

Dessert:
Wedding Cake
Italian cookies and Pastries
Coffee, tea, espresso and cordial bar.

As Michele said people know coffee and tea will be served, so you can leave that out, but I like it in. Again, just my opinion.

Re: Help with Menu wording

Is the cordial bar being wheeled around to everyone or do people have to specifically ask for it. If its the former, you can take that out too.

Re: Help with Menu wording

Entrees:
(choose one)
chicken. ..
fish. . .

I would keep the menu very simple, just list everythin as brief as possible and if anyone has a question - they'll ask the waiter.

Re: Help with Menu wording

Where will you be placing these menus? In the invitations? When I go to weddings I usually find out the choices when I'm at the reception when they take my order. Is this something new?

Re: Help with Menu wording

I'm keeping mine very basic:

Appetitizer
Salad
Choice of Entree (then list choices)
Dessert

Plain and simple! If you use nice font and print it out on nice thick paper, it will look very elegant.

I'm then going to place 2 per table, leaning up against the centerpieces.

Re: Help with Menu wording

I did my own too.
It's pearl, then wine then cream for printing menu.
Two per table. I glued easel backs on them so they would stand.
Here it is...
