Help with my DJ selection PLEASE

I went to In The Mix and BodyRock today and am soooo confused. I lreally liked both of them and they are within the same price so I just don't know what to do. Did any of you girls book either? Are you getting a DJ and MC? Do you really need an MC? HELP!!!!!

You don't really need an MC unless you have a crowd that really needs motivation to dance. If you have a good crowd, the DJ (i'm using vinny from high voltage) will make appropriate announcements and take the role of the MC on an as needed basis...I'm not sure if the other Djs will do this though. This is why Vinny is doing for me and many others. Good luck!!

I booked in the mix based on some recommendations and I felt really comfortable when we met with them. We decided to get an MC also, I am not really sure if you need one or not though.
My aunt is actually using them for her wedding before mine (9/06) so we are going to see what her MC is like and how it goes and then we can always change our contract after that. Hopefully I will like who she has and request the same person

That's what we were going to do, but the package has both so that's what we went for.

I used to work for for Body Rock and you really should have a DJ and and MC. As far as choosing between them there are so many that are much better. Try Starlight Entertainment. I am using a personal friend of mine that used to work for all of these companies and went on his own.

I am using In The Mix. I used them before and they are awsome!! I am getting a Dj and MC with some other extras like montages etc.

I am not sure on either. But what sometimes helps me is doing a search of them and read what past brides wrote. This may help you.

I would go with the one that you and FI feel will cater to all of your guests needs,but makes you happy as well!

I think you need an MC because they keep everything in order and if your crowd are not partiers, then they help get everyone up on the floor. On the other hand they better be good cause they can ruin it as well

For the wedding we are using We like to Party Entertainment and we just used them for the e-party too. These guys are great and have the best personalities.

I'm using sound choice. Saw them at a wedding at majestic gardens. They were great. I'm using Mike. He had a great personality but not over bearing and annoying like some mc's can be. We even went to his house when we met with him.
