Help with my highlights that I hate

I went and got honey highlights yesterday, just partial. I have dark brown hair. I really hate it. I don't see someone with brown hair and blond highlights. I see someone with blond hair. I am going back today to the salon after begging them to fit me in. Has anyone had this problem and if so, what did they do to fix it?

I think you can go get your hair streaked of any and all color and then have them die it to a color that matches your own. I amnot 100% sure on that but I remember hearing my MIL talk about it once.

YOU CAN ASK TO DO SOME LOW LIGHTS TO GET RID OF SOME OF THE BLOND

My hair has been too light a few times and I went back and they put lowlights in it. I liked it a lot better.

Depending on what they used the first time around, they might be able to put in a rinse to tone down the blonde a bit.

Don't worry there are plenty of options.

Hi!
That happened to me once. I wanted blonde hightlights in my hair and my hair is a dark brown...totally didn't look right. I went back and they toned it down.

After that, when the roots started coming in, I didn't want to go back and get it done..I just bought a box of dye (that matched my hair color) from CVS and covered it up...it worked really well!!

sometimes is not even that blond, you just have to get use to them since you hair was a dark color

Thanks again. I just got home and she put a toner in it. I am happy with it. It was too bright and blond for me. Now it is VERY sutle.
