OK girls, help- I am thinking of buying my slip from Angels Bridals on e-bay (store with brand new slips). Has anyone used them? Do you think I should buy the 3-hoop slip which the hoops are adjustable and you can take them out. This slip has 2 layers of tulle whereas the layered A-line one only has 1. The slip I tried on at the store is a basic A-line but I think its a little droopy but the ballroom one was too much. You can cut out the tulle and stuff if its too much but you cant add it. The slip is 20 + 10 shipping....Not too bad. Should I go for the hoops or an A-line and is there anything anywhere in between???? TIA- Annie

Re: HELP With my SLIP
A-line crinoline (without the hoops) come with different 'ruffles'. The more the ruffle the 'poofier'.

Re: HELP With my SLIP
I got mine from angelbridals and I didn't have any problems. I got the 3-hoop skirt which I think will be great because it holds the dress off your legs so you won't be sweltering. You can adjust the hooops to fit the size you need or take them out all together if they are too much. I tried it on with my dress and it looks great

Re: HELP With my SLIP
i just ordered the a-line one. It looks pretty full in the pics. In the sellers feedback some people were saying the 3-hoop was slightly uncomfortable to try and sit in.

Really. I had a 3-hoop (for 1st marriage) and loved it. You just have to slightly 'lift' it to sit. It does not touch the legs so it's great in the summer.

Thats a good point (not too hot fo rthe summer). I am wearing 5 hoop slip and boy is it uncomfortable, but I love the look.....'pain is beauty'
I sat and nothing 'popped up.'

Why is it uncomfortable?
You just lift the back a bit to sit. The hoops don't pop up. They become slightly flat.

How was the adjustable size? Did it bunch? Was it real high on your waist? Were the hoops difficult to adjust and stuff? I think I am gonna go with the 3 hoop slip....wanna sell yours??

I just went to look at dresses at Angels Bridals on Tuesday, they were really nice there. They are very knowledgeable and helpful.

I bought the A-line one from them, and its perfect. It came in this tiny little box though, so when you get it hang it up and let it unwrinkle.
