Hi ladies Figured I would come to the experts Ok a friend is getting married in Jan and needs an indoor spot for pics Church is in Deer Park and reception is at Lands End--any suggestions? She said she already put a call into St Johns in Oakdale-- where else can she try? Thanks for your help Laura

Dowling College, Vanderbilt Mansion, it is on Montauk Highway, what about hotels, can you do it there?

Why can't they just take the pictures at Lands End? It sounds like a lovely place and I'm sure they have some lovely rooms inside? I got married this past January and didn't have a separate picture spot- I took pictures at the reception venue.

Aboretum in Oakdale? Don't know how much of indoors you can use of the mansion, but it is very nice.

I know that Lands End has a great staircase. My friend got married there this past January. It was cold but other than that a perfect day. It was so nice that she decided to **** it up and take pictures outside of Lands End (also very nice beach scene) and also at the Oakdale Arboretum. Her pictures look like they were taken on a summer day. Just pray for no rain!

Thanks for the suggestions She will be taking pics inside at Lands End but they cant get in there until 5:30 so she wanted to go somewhere else in between Thanks again Laura

At the Bayard Arboritum, you can not take picture in the mansion, they won't let you!!

We did ours at the Fox Hollow Inn (poored on our wedding day) We did have to rent a room but they have a fireplace on every floor

we met with a photographer who recommended the ecology center in holtsville for indoor pictures. were going to check it out this weekend.
