Thanks so all you girls' help, I've found many photographers within my budget and I'm thrilled. Now comes the narrowing down time! There are 8 photographers I love and I need you're help in narrowing them down! There's no way I'm meeting with EIGHT photographers!!!

I know Joe Sanfilippo personally, and I highly recommend him. He's a great guy, and takes amazing pictures!!!!!!

Brian Calabrese is an awesome guy and has great work! So excited to have him shoot our wedding.I believe he works along with Joe Sanfilippo too if I'm not mistaken. Check out their blogs/websites :)

Brian Calabrese was our photographer. His photos are excellent and he is an absolute pleasure to work with. We were so happy with everything he's done for us!
He actually had Joe Sanfilippo come along as his assistant / second photographer for our wedding! So we had both of them! Joe has an amazing photo journalism eye!
I'd be happy to show you our albums if you want -- just FM me for the links. I also have 100+ pics in an album on facebook I could send you a link to if you want to see more examples.
I highly recommend him. I have to get my review done so I can share more eventually. Bottom line: DH had one responsibility -- pick the photographer. Not only was Brian affordable, but he was excellent.

Thanks for your help girls :) :) Joe did our engagement photos- for free! He was looking for a couple to experiment with new techniques.
Any other opinions from anyone else?? :)

I think I only met with 2 photographers - the rest I either viewed the albums online or just asked around for referrals. I also called companies on the phone and asked for quotes, a few actually mailed me contracts as if I was going to book them on the spot (J*_o_v_on Photo was one of these ). I am booked w/ Ariana Studios - Wedding Plaza in Floral Park.
We went in person to look at invitations, photos and gowns (they have everything under 1 roof for an affordable price). They are VERY affordable for pictures, I am paying slightly over $3K (w/ taxes) for 4 albums, 2 photographers and 75 thank you cards.

I'm not sure if he's out of your budget, but Thomas Paul photography is AMAZING and he includes a beautiful engagement shoot and book in the package!

I booked Joe Sanfilippo for my wedding - few more months to go- He really is an awesome guy. doing our e-pics soon with him! Cant wait! Good luck with your decision!!

The only person we met with from your list was Amanda Picone and she was such a sweetheart and had good prices. We ended up going with Proline though.
