Okay, so we think we MIGHT splurge on a french polynesia honeymoon... now we're wondering which itinerary to go with!
(for poll purposes, i wrote 'nite' so it could fit... even though i promise i know how to spell it!)
#1 1 night in Tahiti 3 nights Moorea - beach bungalow 6 nights Bora Bora - overwater bungalow =least expensive
#2 1 night Tahiti 3 nights Moorea -- overwater bungalow 6 nights Bora Bora -- overwater bungalow =middle price
#3 1 night Tahiti 3 nights Moorea - beach bungalow 4 nights Bora Bora - garden suite w/pool or beach bungalow 2 nights Le Tahaa -- overwater suite =most expensive

Between #1 and #2, I would go with #1, because we loved some things about the OWB and some things about the beach bungalow, so to have one of each is nice, and you do save a little $ by doing it… BUT if I had the money I would have LOVED to see Le Taha’a, and since I will probably never spend that amount of $$ to go back, I regret not going there, even if it would have just been for 1 or 2 nights. So ultimately, I pick #3 with #1 as the second choice.

I vote for #1.
Definitely stay in different room categories. We loved our beach bungalow in moorea just as much as our OWB in bora bora.
You could even save a little more $$ and do 1-night tahiti, 4-nights moorea and 5-nights bora bora. We did that itin andn it was perfect!

The person that quoted me said that there's a special price in Bora Bora... stay 6, pay 5... so you stay for 6 nights and only pay for 5... that's why we chose that way....
i loved your FP pictures... they were gorgeous, and that's what made us want to go!

I definitely agree. We went with a garden bungalow in Moorea in order to save money, and we loved getting experience all the different types of rooms. Plus it made the OWB in Bora Bora all the better.

I voted for #3 b/c Tahaa looks amazing and I'm going there too!!!
Why don't you tell us what hotels these are for...may help us give you better ideas.
Are you talking about the Thalasso on Bora Bora b/c they have a stay 5, pay 4 deal...that's what I got there.
