What is the typical procession down the aisle for the bridal party? I want to have groomsmen and bridesmaids walk down together - but should I have Best Man and MOH walk together or separate? Also - FH mom is a single mom, so does she walk down aisle alone or should FH escort her down when he walks down? I know typically groom and his groomsmen usually enter through a side door, but I really want FH and his boys to walk down the aisle - any ideas or opinions on this???

The MOH and BM should not walk down the aisle together. The MOH should walk by herself before you walk. If you want all the men to walk down the aisle pair the BM with one of the girls and a guy in the bridal party so two guys and a girl walk together. As for the groom I have seen the mother and groom walk together. It should also be in height order.

I think you can do whatever you want. I'm having my Jr. bm go in first by herself, then my girls and guys will be in pairs. My mother is my MOH and I'm having my brother GM walk in with her.
As for the bestman, he will be at the altar with priest and FH

The groom and the best man should be at the alter ... the bms and gms will walk down together... usually in height order... then the MOH then you

it can really be however you want it. In most church wedding the best man is already in front with the groom so he doesnt walk down at all and then after he walks back out with the MOH.
Your church or RH will help you with the order....no need to stress now.

usually the BM and the Groom will be on the alter already with the priest or the person doing the ceremony and the Groomsmen and Bridesmaid will walk town together then your MOH will walk by herself. The mother is usually escorted by someone.

It's really a matter of preference. Our groomsmen are not walking down the aisle...only the girls. MOH is walking in on her own... Best Man is also groom's father so he'll be escorting his wife and then going up to the altar. Mom and Dad are walking me down...even though my parents are divorced... :)

Groom and Best Man at Alter Grandparents of the Bride Grandparents of the Groom MOB POG Bridesmaids/Groomsmen (or have all the groomsmen up at the alter and have the bm walk down alone) MOH FG/RB Bride!
