Help with Reception Halls!

Help with Reception Halls!

FH and I have been looking for a hall for our December 2010 wedding. I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. We are looking for a hall large enough to hold 250 people, high ceilings (if possible), and fireplaces. Thank you!

The Woodlands has fireplaces, so does the Royalton...

I'm biased, but North Ritz Club can hold 300-350, has high ceilings, and a fireplace in the bridal suite. It's absolutely beautiful!

Do you have a specific area? Or are you ok going up to New Rochelle?

Glenn Island Harbor Club in New Rochelle is Beautiful!
Carlyle on the Green (i'm partial to that)
Sands Lido
Bridgeview Yacht Club
Crest Hollow CC (the room upstairs all the way to the left)

if i can think of anymore i'll let u know

i would highly suggest the Inn @ NHP especially if you are looking at december. My sister got married there this past December and they way they had it decorated for the holidays was beautiful. They have some gorgoeous pictures in the inn's lobby in front of the fireplace. The ballroom was very spacious and the cocktail hour room was amazing, all tuscan decor and great food!

i agree with Woodlands or Inn @ NHP. Both hold the # you are looking for and have fireplaces. Both are beautiful and have great food!

Hi everyone! I know the main poster here and she's basically looked at almost all the halls suggested plus her sister is getting married 7/2010 at the Inn at New Hyde Park. I just searched today for her and was thinking maybe the East Wind Caterers. Anyone have any thoughts, I've never looked there but it seems to meet her criteria?

I might be biased, but, check out Bourne Mansion in Oakdale...we absolutely loved it...

I know, I LOVE it! The fireplace is one the left when you first walk into the bridal suite. It's a 'fake' fireplace (it's like that fake wood with fake fire stuff), but it's still a fireplace

Re: Help with Reception Halls!

thanks so much everyone! (and jenna lol). I love the inn at NHP but my sisters is getting married there in july 2010! so far we have looked at woodlands, milleridge, giorgios, carlyle on the green, flowerfield, bourne mansion, royalton, and metropolitan. We really like the royalton and the bourne mansion..but I want to make sure I see everything before we decide! I also feel like the ballrooms are not that big. I would prefer one wedding at a time, but its not a necessity.
