The inlaws want to have my bridal shower at Olive Garden. It's only $13.95 or $14.95, per person, depending on the menu.
Does anyone know of any other locations in a similar price range? I am not sure I like the idea of the Olive Garden and am looking at some options.

I had a friends shower at Donovans in Bayside on Bell Blvd for $14.95/pp. They have 2 rooms, one fits up to 30, the other fits about 50. It's an Irish restaurant, and they give guests 3 choices (you pick 3 out of 6). It's a nice place and service is pretty good.

What happened to the bridal shower being a surprise?
No offense really but I don't know any brides that planned their own shower.

What about Bertucci's in Westbury? They have a separate party room and I think the menu starts under $20. I really don't like the food at olive garden.

I was going to suggest this OR right across the street from Donovans there is a place call Monhan's. Its a pub downstairs but they have a really cute room upstairs.. it has a fireplace and its own bar! They gave a pretty good menu!! and it was 13.95 p/p They also included the wishing well and bridal chair.

I know a lot of brides that know of and 'provide suggestions' for their showers- including myself- some people just do not want their shower to be a surprise- every one figures it out anyway.. I'd rather it be the day that I want- and I want to make sure I have my hair and make up done!!
CB- I would check out a few places in the area you'd like.. depending on when it is, the price may vary if you are flexible.
What about paying a room rental at a hotel and bringing in catered food-- that may be an option.
