Can you creatuve types give me some ideas? This is a sample I made for my sandollar placecards. While I like the look of the string, do you think it would be possible to glue it somehow instead of tying? Also, do you think I should pick a different color card for the name & table #? (this is just a sample so pls excuse the bad handwriting). It will be placed on a table with a sheer blue tablecloth. Thanks!

I think the rope looks nautical, maybe try different boating knots? Maybe get the fancy sissors and cut the edges so it looks like waves (they are cheap at michaels)
Maybe you could make a band/sleeve with paper (glue in back) and slip it around the dollar?

I think their cute as they are!! Maybe I'd buy a little stamp set of seashells (shells, seaweed, sea gulls) and add one to the corner of the card. Use a cream color for the paper?
If you want to use the card to differentiate (sp?) between tables, try a light blue paper, rose, & light green. Then if you have more that obviously that many tables use stamps to separate. Blue with seaweed stamp, blue this type shell stampe, blue with that type shell stamp.. so forth.. if you wanted to get 'detailed'

I think they look cute - maybe use fishing line? The paper could be like a sea blue and the writing in white?

I like them, Jenny. I love beach weddings. I think Butterfly's idea would look great!

You could also make a sandbox and line-up the sand dollars in it and then place the cards into the sand infront of each dollar (no string needed)

or maybe get fishing hooks and hook the card and dollar (then file down or place something [like a heart] on the end of the hook so no-one gets hurt)
