Im getting married on a saturday at 3:30... what time should i schedule my hair and makeup? and what time should the photographer get there? also, do you usually do hair or makeup first??? And what time should my girls get to my house? im such a clueless bride... please help!!
do you plan to take pics before hand? If you do then give yourself lots of time.
If you are having pics done before hand, then the photographer should be there about three hours ahead of time, I had my hair done, then makeup and then the photographer came, he took my pics with family and bridal party, then i had about 30 minutes to get myself together, my wedding was at 630, may hair was for 11:30, makeup at 1( she did three of us), photographer came at 3, it worked out nicely, hope this helps
Your photographer should get there 1 hour before you plan to leave your house (at least that's what they've been telling us).
My photographer said that he usually gets there about 2 hours before the ceremony but usually only shots for about 45 minutes but gives himself time to set up and wait just in case the bride is not ready, which he said happens all the time.
I had the same question and it totally depends. How many people you are having have their hair done. Plan on 30-45 minutes each for that. Talk to your photographer about when you want them to start taking pictures. Are you meeting them at the ceremony or are you doing pic before? I'm getting married at 7:00pm, and my hair dresser is coming ot me at 9:00am. Hair is first then makeup. Your hair will probably take an hour to do, but ask the hair dresser.
ok thanks... i am just taking a few pictures beforehand... we have a 3 hour gap so we're taking our pictures then. Do you think its too late if i get hair done at 10, and then makeup at 11?? and have the girls get there at 12 and photo at 1:30??
IMO, that timing sounds about right.
