Hey girls - we're trying to lock down the order and timing of the toasts at the reception but can't find anything remotely consistent on who gives one and in what order. We thought we'd have my parents, the best man and the maid of honor, but some sites say FH gives one, as well as FH's parents. Any guidance you girls have from your wedding or ones you've been to would be really helpful!

Re: Help with toasts!? who gives and when?
At my sister's wedding the best man and the two mohs - me and my younger sister - gave toasts. I think it was pretty early in the night, but I dont remember the exact time. I think it's up to you... if your parents are paying and want to say something and you want to let them, have them say a speech too.

The toast is given after the entrance and first dance, the reception begins with a toast and champagne and then on to the food and dancing.
Usually the best man or the best man and the maid of honor. It's up to you. I might just have the best man say the speech because my MOH said my speech at my shower.

After the first dance when everyone goes to their seats the best man goes first then the MOH.....at least that is how it has always been done for the weddings I have been in and been to
