Re: HELP! with vendors!
I can highly recommend my photographer and florist. Photographer is Ed Collins located in Manhattan (www.edcollinsphoto.com) and florist is Milleridge Florist in Jericho. I used Laurie and she was absolutely incredible! I would do a search and see which vendors come up a lot and start there. It can be overwhelming! Good luck!

Re: HELP! with vendors!
Try Music by Michael for DJ. Very well reviewed, and reasonably priced. I second the idea of using the search for vendor info. Try not to get too crazy! I was out of my mind at first, it was all so overwhelming! Just take it one step at a time and pace yourself!
Good Luck

Re: HELP! with vendors!
I think 'inexpensive' means different things to each person. I would also caution about just using the large Group type places to get all of your vendors from- I have not heard all that many good stories about those vendors. JMO, but I don't like the warehouse approach. My advice is to prioritize your vendors in terms of importance to you. For instance Photos were my top priority and I cut back on my favor budget in order to hire the photographer I really wanted. I would recommend Burtons for flowers- reasonable, professional, creative, nice to work with and beautiful flowers! Do not just judge on price either. A cheap, not so great DJ can ruin a party, and so can a really expensive bad DJ. You need to find a DJ that has the style you want in a price range you can afford. And compare the higher end (of your price range) with the lower end (of your price range) and see what the differences are.
