Help with wording for thank you's

Can you ladies please post some of the things you wrote in the thank yous. I dont want every one of mine to say 'Thank you for the generous gift and for sharing in our day'. I am no creative writer and I want to start getting ideas b/c my thank you's should be in any day now.

a lot of mine said the same thing- it is not like people go around comparing what other people's thank you's say.

you can write - it was great to see you at the wedding and we hope you had as much fun as we did..

or for those that didnt come, : we missed you at the wedding and hope to see you soon!

Here is one I found that I might put in my thank you's:

Words cannot express
the joy that we feel
remembering that you shared
the beginning of our new life together.
Thank you for your very thoughtful gift.
