help with workouts

i started the gym 15 days ago and I go about 5 days a week. I run on the treadmil for about an hour and i do some weights. I am not loosing weight and in fact gained some since living in europe. I need help with a routine on what i should be doing - I do do weights but I have no idea what exercises I should be doing.

I know there has been lotsof topics about weight loss/and gym memberships, so if no one wants to answer can you just bump the thread. I really need help. I leave for America in two weeks for today where I am gonna try on my dress! Don't want to feel like a bloaded big.

I do have a poor diet, although I am working on that. I love my carbs, and have no plans to cut them out.

Go on the 'Not Wedding Related' threads under 'Slimdown'. Theres a bunch of us that list our workouts and food logs. There is some great advice there etc.

Re: help with workouts

how poor is your diet?? that could be the culprit.

when I was working out alot, i was so hungry (and I was training for my job for 6 months in a hotel that had a free dinner buffet...) so I didn't lose any weight, even though I was running 3 miles a day.

I would try to have a healty diet (including carbs!) and you will probably see better results.

good luck!
