Whats a fun, interactive, group-work-ish sort of thing I can do with my developmental writing class tomorrow?

Have them write a poem about me....as a group....
rhyming couplets.....palindromes....alliteration....onomatopoeia....all that good sh*t...................

Oh, my. That could be fun. They're my good class, so maybe we will do some poetry. They come up with some funny sh*t.

Give them a list of vocab words them must include....
like:
wang orifice orify (the plural of orifice) roofies platypus blowfish

haiku writing always turned into a fun event in my writing classes.
as did assigning each person a letter of the alphabet and having them write a poem or super short story revolving around the letter. one day one of my professors had the class do it out loud with no time to think basically and we had to make our story/poem have something to do with the one before us kind of like the add a sentance game.
wow... i just read what i wrote. the grammar, spelling, and punctuation is atrocious. Perhaps you could have your class correct it as a group project.

oh Can you have them make a story where you can choose various pathways as it goes along. I used to read books like that from the book mobile. Or you could go even more elementary school and have em write articles about each other. maybe creative ones.
