i have a few cousins that recently got engaged and live with their FHs. should i just put the cousin's name & guest or should i put their FH's name too?

If you know the name of their significant other, ALWAYS write the name, regardless of whether they are engaged or not. A close cousin of my FH (so close that she is now is one of my BM's) got married last year. She and her now husband started dating right around the time that FH and I did. When an invitation to their wedding came addressed to my FH & guest last year (before we were engaged), I was crushed. I was so hurt that she didn't write my name out even though FH and I lived together and I had been at every family function with them for the previous 3 years!
It's a different story if you don't know their name or if it is someone you have never met, but if you've met them and especially if they are engaged write out the name.

you should still write the name out. When in doubt, write it out. I just came up with that.

Give your friend a call and ask for his last name or just write Miss (friend's name) & fiance's first name. I think it's better to acknowledge the person than to write guest if they are engaged.
