I'm a bridesmaid in my bestfriend's wedding this July 14th. I'm concerned because I don't know the maids of honer (2) and the other bridemaids and still haven't heard anything about a shower or bachelorette party yet. I really want her to have a great shower and B-party but I'm scared that no one is planning anything, just kind of waiting to see what everyone else comes up with. What should I do??? I obviously don't want to ask her about anything It's hard too because the groom's side is very religious, no drinking, dancing, etc...

heres what i did/am doing....
MOH- sister BM's: 6 cousins, my BFFL, and his sister FG/RB: his niece and nephew
even though a lot of this is family, my sister isn't really close with this side (my moms staten island crew)...so i gave everyone a list with phone numbers and email addresses so that they can keep in touch if they have to for fittings, showers, b-parties, blah blah blah
everyone thought it was a great idea.... hth

do you have a way to contact the MOH's? If so, it couldn't hurt to get in touch with them and just ask if they are planning something, and if not, suggest working together to organize a shower and b-party. Or if you can't get in touch with them, maybe you could try to contact the bride's parents to get the MOH's contact info or some info as to whether anything has been planned. good luck!

You should ask the bride for a way to get in touch with the other girls.
After I asked all my girls I sent them a group e-mail with cell phone numbers. That way they can talk amongst themselves if they need to.

Ask the bride how to get in touch with the other girls... You should also get in touch with the bride's mom, as she'll likely want to be involved with the shower planning.

Her mom is shizophrenic and most likely not involved in any of the wedding plans.... I know one of the Maid of Honors s in El Salvador and I'm not sure when she is coming to NY, if she is at all I guess maybe I'll just ask her FH for a phone number of someone to contact....ARGGG!! his is sooo confusing

ask her for the other's email addresses. You don't want stuff to not get done and as a future bride yourself you may have some of the best ideas!
