Re: Help....Center piece for engagement party
I am having my eparty next month and I bought tall cylinder vases and colored stones to put in the bottom of them and I'm just going to fill them up with water and put fresh flowers in them. The cylinders and stones I got from Michaels for a total of 36.00 for 7 centerpieces! They haev different colored cylinder vases too! I am not haveing a theme either do I thought it would like pretty! I am going to just buy bundles of fresh flowers from costco that morning to fill up the vases!

Re: Help....Center piece for engagement party
We had balloons for our Engagement Party centerpieces. I LOVED them... they were perfect! (Although, I'm a balloon FREAK!). I found Kim Anderson balloons online, and that was my e-part theme (favors, STD magnets for each guest, invitations... all Kim Anderson!).

For my rehearsal dinner I did hurricane lamps & candles and it looked very simple and elegant. I got them from Michaels and it added a nice soft glow to the room.
A great place for labels is www.myweddinglabels.com
I got my welcome bag labels and my favor labels.

Re: Help....Center piece for engagement party
For our engagement party I bought clear 'float' bowls and filled them with opal colored rocks. Then I put four floating rose candles in each and set them on plastic silver platters (the shiny ones). They were really pretty!!!!

Re: Help....Center piece for engagement party
Why don't you arrange all the bottles of wine in a big basket and put that in the center of the table and tie ballons to that? Kill two birds with one stone?
eta:
You can do a different kind of wine for each table and seat people by flavor of wine!
