HELP!!..Dress Shops in suffolk or west nassau.

Can anyone recommend a GOOD dress place. Need to start looking soon, and I get such mixed reviews on most places...I have had a nightmare of my own, but the place since closed down..

Phylis from Bridal Elegance in Deer Park. Lots of the girls here use her. If you do a search on her you will find all the info you need. She also had really great prices!

honestly, you will find mixed reviews on anyplace if you look hard enough.

I got my dress at Adriennes - they get awful reviews on here, but I know a bunch of people that got their dress there and had no problems at all!

you can also try Bridal Garden in Bethpage- its a small store, but i got BM dresses there for a wedding and they were great!

Bridal Suite of Centerreach & Bridal Suite of Bayshore were both really good when I went to see them....even without an appointment.

Burton's in Huntington - also Lilette's in Baldwin they were very nice there

I haven't bought my dress but my mom had a good experience at paradise bridal for my brothers dress and I tried on a dress that I loved. Saleswoman was very helpful!

I went to Bridal Suite of Bayshore. I recommend them.

Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point was GREAT with trying on and alterations...

Paradise Bridal in Patchogue was great with trying on, but get a big fat FFFFF for alterations and service after the dresses were ordered!!

I got my dress at Fantasia in Rocky Point. Everyone is very nice and the dresses are very reasonably priced.

i used the bridal garden in bethpage for my dress, my moms dres and all the bm dresses. they have a great selection and service and alterations were also very good

FANTASIA BRIDAL IN ROCKY POINT!!!!! they're selection is HUGE, they match/beat prices, their seamstresses are renound, and they're the nicest most down to earth ladies you'll ever meet :) i recommend them to everyone - they really are so great!!! they're located on Rt. 25A and Rocky Point Rd....Good Luck!

i went to burtons in melville. Eveyone was there was very nice, except they wouldn't tell me who made my gown. They had awesome prices too. If you go make sure you ask if they lower the price a little, they did for me. I'm going back there labor weekend to buy the dress!!

Adrienne's does get very mixed reviews, but my experience was wonderful. They're in Islip.

-Burtons in Huntingtondidn't have much of a selection

-Helen's Bridal/Wedding World (located on Austin Blvd in Commack) was a wonderful experience. Liz, the woman in the dress dept, is supernice, they have a great selection in many sizes, and they encourage taking pics.

I also went to Phyllis' (Gownfind) store in Dix Hills (Bridal Elegance). She didn't have many gowns to try on, but even though she didn't have the sample of my gown, I DID end up ordering from her because her price was unbeatable.

We got our BM dresses from Bridal Suite in Bay Shore - no complaints at all... I agree with most girls on this site - Go to a place like Bridal Reflections in Massapequa/Carle Place or Bridal Suite and when you find a dress go with Phyllis from Gownfind. You can't go wrong... Good luck!
