My mom did this for my shower - and it is the most helpful thing ever - and everyone raved about it, saying it was such a good idea!
I picked up my thankyous a couple of weeks ago. At my shower - she took all the envelopes for my thankyous and put them in a few decorated baskets with some pens and a small note - to please put your address for Lindsay to express her appreciation and thanks!
I wrote out about 30 thank yous tonite and have more to go - but having those envelopes done was a HUGE HELP!!!!!!!! It really was!!!!
its a time saver - you might want to pass this along to your MOH or moms!

My mom nixed this idea. She thought it was rude and said that the women would be offended that you couldn't take the time to write out an address....She was very adament. I thought it was a good idea but I can see her point.

wow - im surprised by that - oh well - everyone is different
it took my almost 5 hours on my 50 thank yous and i still have about 10 more - i ran out of cards and postage!
Always buy extra thank yous!

We did this at my friends baby shower. After they were all addressed my friend picked one envelope and they received a give away. We figured make it like a game!

my cousin's wife did this -- I thought it was fine and a great timesaver. My family, however, were bitching about it. Old school, I guess.

love the idea...my sisters did something similar....since they did the invitations for my shower, they printed address labels at the same time and labeled my thank you cards with them....they even stamped them for me....so all i had to do was write them out...so helpful
My mom did the same thing, except she bought the thank yous and printed the addresses directly on the envelopes! Also stamped though
