Help...Hotels for OOT Guests??

I had already blocked rooms at 2 hotels..one in the NYC and the other at the Garden City Hotel (where we'll be staying on wedding night).

My question is should I block another hotel closer to my hall? I already tried the Inn at Fox Hollow but they were sold out.
Has anyone seen or stayed at the Best Western Woodbury Inn? Is it nice enough for out of town guests? Or is there another hotel in that area that you recommend?

Thanks!

I have the same question. Executive inn or Best Western?? which one is better.

Go check them out. Personally, I have never had a really bad experience with Best Western.

My SIL is getting married at the Woodlands, and I think they are going with the Best Western. Yeah...I know it's a Best Western, but they looked around and it really seemed to be the best option, considering that having everyone in one place (to party before and after!) and being close to the Woodlands were the prime factors.

I'm not sure where the Woodlands is but I blocked rooms at the Plainview Holiday Inn. Same thing - I was sort of put off by the fact that it's a Holiday Inn but it's a hotel, not motel, and they have a great restaurant and bar in the hotel. I did go check them out though - wouldn't have been comfortable sending guests into something I've never seen. FYI - the rate they gave me was $99/night, another thing I couldn't pass up.

I wanted something close to the hall so guests have options. I believe it's right across the street from oyster bay golf course. I plan on checking it out this weekend. I agree. I feel uncomfortable suggesting a hotel without seeing it first.
