Help...Invitation Wording...

So we found an opening saying for our invitations that we like, but we need to change it a little and I need help making it rhyme.

The original
Friends for ever we will be
whether walking on the beach
or sailing on the sea...

We are boaters not sailors so:

Friends for ever we will be
whether walking on the beach
or boating on the bay...

Once we change the line to bay the first line doesn't rhyme anymore. Does it need to?

well first thing i notice is that forever is one word so should be together. I personally like how 1 sounds better but not bc of the rhyming and you dont have to have it rhyme

Thanks that does work!!! We are changing it because for starting in a few weeks and going thru the entire summer we spend most of our time on the bay, so we thought it would be cuter for us.

The forever was a typing error. I was on the phone while typing and watching TV. Nothing like multi tasking
