help!!!Need input...not sure I like my gown (with pics)

Help!! My wedding is in 4 months and I'm not sure I like my gown...I'm thinking of buying one from ebay. My mom says she loves it, but it's not the dress I originally wanted (made the mistake of listening to my godmother!) and now I'm not sure I like how it looks.

Please tell me what you think

personally i like the gown. i think it's gorgeous and the bustle is done nicely.
but if you dont like it then maybe you should look for another dress.
if you're worried aboud doing Ebay you could try the Wedding Center in Commack. They have a cash and carry store that has samples and discontinued gowns for as little as $99-$199
it might be worth checking out.

i think you look great though!

I really like your dress! I think it's very pretty and it fits you well. But, you have to be comfortable in it and feel your best when you wear it and if you do not you may want to consider another option, for your own peace of mind. Good luck!

Honestly-regardless of what anyone else thinks, YOU have to love your dress. If you don't love it, I'd sell it and get the one I really wanted!

I think you look beautiful! It's a really pretty dress and seems to fit you very well, but no matter what we say it's you that has to love your gown and feel good in it!

If you're unsure why don't you have a look round a couple of affordable shops, just so you can see yourself in other dresses and either buy another one or confirm your choice!

I think you look beautiful in your gown. I think it's very flattering. But, as the other girls said, you have to love it. I agree with the previous poster that you should go and try some things on to see if there really is something you like better.

Can you posta pic of the gown you originally wnated so we can see the difference? I think this gown looks great but maybe its soemthing about the other that you like more...

Many of us have gone through this. Some women have the means to buya new gown. I don't so I stuck with mine, but am making it my own with my accessories; kick @$$ red high heels(which have everyone 'cept FH and my MOH ina tizzy!), vintage inspired jewelry(pendant necklace and bracelet) and an amazing headpiece comb and veil. Dress doesn't even matter that much anymore. Sure if someone offered me several million dollars right now so I could pay off all my loan debt, get FH and I a house and have some left over, I would buy myself a new dress, but thats just me. Do what you feel is doable for you that will make you comfortable.

The gown is beautiful on you- but its not my opinion that counts- if you are not happy- than i would get the one on ebay.

I love the dress. The bustel is great too. Put it on walk around a little and see how you feel. If you feel like a princess great if you are uncomfortable or unhappy, look for another one.

i actually like that gown a lot...

BUT!

if you don't love it, look for something else. you can get a gown off of ebay, or a bridal shop can express order it for you...

it's your wedding day - be happy - you will never regret getting the gown you love, but you might regret settling for a gown yo only like.

If you don't like it, you won't be happy. I would look for another dress. I did the same thing. I bought a dress b/c I listened to my mom and sister, and realized I hated it. Luckily, the bridal shop didn't place the order yet, and I was able to put the deposit on another dress that I love and feel so comfortable in.

I actually LOVE that dress because it is my dress. Mine is in ivory and rum though. I have to agree with everyone else though, it is you who has to love the dress. If you aren't happy with it I would keep looking. I wouldn't do ebay though only because a lot of times you like a picture of a dress and then once it is on you, you find out that it does nothing for you or it just isn't what you thought it would be. Think is looks great but when I put mine on it felt like the one right away!!! Maybe if you try it on again you will feel that way!!! Think you should go to a dress salon and try some others on!! Then lyou might appreciate it more. You have to be comfortable!!! It looks great. I love the bustle. It lays so pretty!!!

I think it's beautiful & you look beautiful in it - My advice if you didnt get that gut feeling when you put it on i would look else where - Davids Bridal is very reasonable. I dont really know of anywhere else where they could get you something asap. Good Luck - Just go with your feelings they will never lie to you.

I think it looks very nice! But like they have all said, if you dont love it and are unsure, maybe try to look around some more. Try Davids bridal and some places like that. They sometimes have awesome sales!
