Do you have time to order something? Check the redenvelope site for an engraved frame or champagne flutes with their names on them?

This may sound odd but someone I know received gardening tools as their gift. They may not be able to use it now but I thought it was such a unique thing to do.

ok, but seriously, it might be nice to get them a gift certificate to a FANCY resturant...like Tellers...and write a card about how they can use this on their one month anniversary. It would be totally different and really nice to give them something like that so that they can have a fancy night after having spent SO MUCH TIME AND MONEY on a wedding.

Re: Helpp! need ideas for a shower gift
how about a honeymoon night bag - i did this as part of my sister in laws present and spent around that much. Get a nice big tote fill it with lingerie (i bought the robe and slip from vs's wedding collection - it was really beautiful) then get some toasting flutes, champagne, body oils, (i added furry handcuffs, edible undies and nipple tassels - just to spice it up) and then topped it off with Godiva chocolates. It came out so nice and i got so many complements

I would say a gift card, this way if there is anything they want to add or need later on they have it

Re: Helpp! need ideas for a shower gift
did they already get a waffle maker?
I made a really cool basket for one of my friends for about $150 with a waffle maker and all the necessary accessories (measuring cups, spoons, oil, spatula, etc.)
I put it all together in a nice basket

Re: Helpp! need ideas for a shower gift
Not sure you could meet your price with this, but probably if you expanded upon it.........I recently saw a really pretty basket give at a shower with a TON of kitchen dish towels arranged in it, each for a different holiday/season...
