Hi - my wedding is 5/31 and I haven't ordered invites yet... i plan on doing it next weekend... am i s crewed?! if i do it next Saturday (in person at an invitation store), will I be OK?
Also, how long before the wedding should the RSPV date be?
I have been the worst bride ever, i am just totally hating the whole process of planning......... ugh i'm really worried now that i'm so far behind....

I think you're still ok....usually RSVP dates are 4-6weeks before the wedding date....so maybe April 30? or sooner. when do you need final headcount to your RH? You'll want to give yourself a little time before that to follow up on any stragglers. My wedding is the week after yours and I plan on mailing my invites on Easter weekend (March 22ish) and my RSVP date is May 1. So....you should still be fine, but do it soon!

I don't think you are screwed- but I would definitely get on it. i am not an expert- we are actually starting to think about invites now, but I do know you should give your guests anywhere from 4-6 weeks to respond and I would leave yourself at least 3 weeks to chase them down and let your hall know for seating etc. I would think April 1st would be the absolute latest that you should send out your invitations IMO. Thank you, things have been nuts lately and it just hit me like a ton of bricks tongiht that I really need to order them. How long do they generally take to print? And then how long should it take to get the calligraphy done on the outer envelopes? I am having a total panic attack about this all of a sudden. THANK YOU!

I ordered my invitations at the end of February beginning of march for my may wedding, I sent them out March 25th with an RSVP of April 25
I think you are fine, we did the date exactly 1 month to the date

u should be fine....but definetly get on the ball. as long as there ordered soon things should work out. I mailed mine out 2months before our date, and RSVP was set for 1month before. good luck!

A date twin! Finally! So glad you aren't all done with your invites or I'd be really worried. Do you BELIEVE it's only 4 1/2 months away?!
