i need help, my best friend is getting married to a guy i dont really like....
she talks to me about problems they have, and i want to be there for her but at the same time i have trouble because i really dont like the guy already and the stuff she tells me makes it worse, so i dont know what to do.....????
any advise, please....... i really want to be there for her as a friend but i have trouble with the situation and i dont know what to do???

i would always say generic things like 'you have to go with what your heart tells you/what you think is best/what you can sleep with at night'
'everything happens for a reason'
unfortunately in situations like this sometimes you have to let the friends learn for themself. otherwise they may resent you in the long run, which of course you don't want to happen!

there isnt much u can do...sometimes when u try to warn ppl about certain things , they only end up hating u..u have to let learn from her mistakes and just let her know in a nice way that u always gonna b there for her and to make sure she really wants to marry this guy...good luck

that is the approach i have been taking and she isnt seeing the truth and i dont know what more i can do.........???????
she says her eyes r open but they r definitely not............

let me tell you' love is really blind' i have seen many of my friends get involved with those type of guys, even my sis..but didnt matter how much i talked to them, they didtn listen....they needed to learn by themselves, and it shouldnt be lik that , but it is sometimes... just express the way u feel to her but dont get her crazy and make her hate u and start avoiding u , tellin her the same thing everyday..cuz it wont work.....good luck

Just be there and listen to her - don't give advice or your opinion. Regardless of what she has told you, she is marrying this guy and probably really loves him. If you say anything against him, she might get defensive which would cause a strain on your relationship with her. If he is as terrible as she says, she will realize it eventually.
