Well, you don't have to do the traditional slow dance with your brother. The two of you can come up with a funny routine to your fav song. It will be a highlight of the evening!

I was thinking about that!!!
we have to come up with a routine in 7 days!!!

What songs do you have in mind? You don't have to do something that is extremely choreographed but throw in a few funny dance moves to a cut down version of the song and you both will be the hit of the party. (well you will obvs be the hit of the party but it will just make it better )

our favorite ever..is the walk it out remix....

That is KC's song of the night.... LOL!
Since he can't shout!

How about 'You're My Best Friend' by Queen?

ETA: 'In My Life' Beatles
'Landslide' Fleetwood Mac
'This is the Time To Remember' Billy Joel
'You've Got a Friend In Me' Randy Newman

I like the idea of 'Build Me Up Buttercup' - right tempo, cute lyrics.

It'll be really cute as you said 'the apple of your eye', do the 'Cuppycake' song by Amy's version of 'You're My Honeybunch'. The song is sang by a little girl and def very cute and appropriate for your dance with your bro. He might get a bit embarrassed but it's a cute song to express how you really feel about him. Or you can do Stand by You by Pretenders. It might be a bit more grown-up though.
