Hi all, I had my dress fitting the other day and I realized that the dress was hemmed right above the tips of my toes, however I feel like it looks too short.
Is this correct? The lady at the store said that she doesnt want me to trip as I walk down the aisle, but I sorta like that long floaty look.
How are your dresses? Did they drag on the floor a little in the front, or it's right on your toes?

Right above my toes so that the tips of my shoes peeked out. If it hit the floor, you would trip on it.

Re: Hem of wedding dress
T he woman who helped me at the bridal salon, when taking my measurements, said that the dress should actually be slightly off the floor (I think they do like 1/2 inch or something). I was measured under the ssumption that I would wear 3-1/2 in heels, which is standard for high heels in my closet, but if I don't like the height of the dress I figure I can alway s get a 3 inch heel!

Yes it should be hemmed so that when you stand it touches the tips of your toes, otherwise when you walk you will step on it
