For those of you who have ordered dresses that needed this measurement, did you go with the exact shoe you are going to wear on the day? My salon mentioned my dress needs this hem, so if I bring a similar heel when I go to order this Saturday, will that be good enough?

I just did this yesterday and I wore shoes that were approximately the height I plan on wearing with the dress. I figure that I will just buy shoes that are the same height. Honestly, even if they end up being slightly different it won't really make a difference, but I would definitely keep it relatively close. JMO

Keep it very close. I was wearing the same shoes I would wear for my wedding, but then I changed the slip because I felt it was too poufy. That made the dress a little too long.

I happened to have the shoes I am going to wear...But they told me to have at least the exact height heel
