Hi all!!!! I like going by word of mouth, so I'm sorry I keep asking about RH! My mother and I are being treated to dinner at the Hempstead CC as a vendor she works with really wants us to get the experience there and seems to think that we would love it (obviously he would sponsor us to have our wedding there). Does anyone have any positive/negative things to say about it? Would love ALL feedback!!!! Thanks!
Went there for a hs graduation party - the room is really pretty and you are right on the golf course.... this was now over 7 years ago but if I remember correctly the room is not super huge - so I think that if you have a big guest list that they might not all fit- I also know someone else who had their bridal shower there and the pics look so pretty!
i went to a brunch there maybe 4-5 years ago?? it was great. the room is nice and bright with lots of windows. its on the golf course so it would be really nice in September. Don't remember the size of the room; id imagine there were at least 100 people when i went. Not sure you could do a 300 person affair though but you would have to ask. i believe you need to have a connection there to use the space and that you can't just walk in off the street and ask to have a party (so maybe that is why the vendor is bringing you in)...
Thanks all!!! Hope more people have had good experiences there... I was very excited about one place that bunches of brides were saying they liked, then I heard some not so hot stuff about the food.... Please keep sending info!!!!! (and yes, this is someone who is kissing up to my mom at work, so they arranged for dinner and to pay for it and I know he is all about sponsoring us.)
