So I decided that I'm gonna get all henna'd up for the wedding. It seems a good way for me to honor some of my heritage.
Do you think that it would be appropriate to see if the BP, my mom, or anyone else would like to partake? IDK kinda like having a henna party before the wedding? I don't know much about it so if you do give me some details!!

That sounds like a great idea! I think you should ask your BP and family if they want to do it! Im sure your family would love it!

My friend (little white german girl) had a Henna Party the night before her wedding. She did a hindu ceremony. I wasn't there but I edited her wedding video and it looked like a great time. All the women were singing and dancing while she got henna. Tons of food. I am kind of sorry I missed it.
His family threw it though. I wouldn't expect your BMs to host it, just to go.

I think its a good idea. i'm having a bridal party luncheon this saturday for my bridesmaids and I hired a mehndi artist to spice up the party and honor some of my heritage as well. All my girls are excited about it and can't wait.

i will have one., thrown by my inlaws for all the women...it is traditional in my fiance's culture.....looks like fun, but they will organize it.
