Ok, so I started putting together my invites today. I'm a little disappointed. My invites are gorgeous, I love them. BUT, she forgot to add the return address to the back of 14 envelopes!! AND I am missing a personalized response card, AND she forgot to add the black layer to one of the monogram cards that are on the front of the pocketfold. I'm just kinda bummed. I know everyone makes mistakes but with all the money I spent, I didn't expect all these errors...not to mention that there is black on A LOT of my white envelopes (looks like ink didn't dry completely and got marks on the envelopes next to them)...nothing MAJOR, but still...

She says she doesn't understand how she could have missed the return addresses and wants me to mail back the envelopes that are missing the return address & she will fix them & mail them back to me. So now I need to go mail them to her tomorrow so hopefully I'll get them back ASAP. I didn't even tell her about the other problems I found after I inititally emailed her about the addresses.

Also, girls that ordered extra invites from her...did she add the design on the envelope? Like I have a black swirl design in the corner of the front of the envelopes but on my extra envelopes, she didn't add the design--the return address is on the back but not the design. Is that how she does the extra invites? It seems that she should do the design on the extra envelopes as well.

Sorry this is so long....anyone experience any of these problems??

dude. i would make her fix EVERYTHING.

A few of my response cards were printed upside down...other than that no major problems.

I emailed her Sat. b/c 5 of my addresses were wrong (my error- excel auto corrected them!) and havent heard back yet. I really need new envelopes re-printed. I dont mind paying for them and said I would...so I dont understand why she hasnt gotten back to me?

As for the extra invites, our extra ones do not have the design on the envelope.

i'm sorry - that stinks. i noticed some of the smudging with my envelopes but it didn't bother me enough to say anything. i also received an uneven number of inserts but luckily didnt wind up needing to use those invitations.
yes i had the swirl design on my extra envelopes.

Overall she did a wonderful job, but she did make some mistakes with addresses and names on some envelopes. I sent her back the envelopes and she fixed them and sent them back. She did the design on all the envelopes, which is the same as the invites. The back of the envelope just had our return address on it.

I'm sure if you tell her all the problems you had, she will fix them for you. Good luck!!

I actually had a major issue with mine and she had to reprint 35 of my invites. they came damaged with corners all bent, she blamed fedex though and was nice enough to do them and ship them free for me.


I also had some other issues with mine, really minor though so i didnt say anything. I am missing two envelopes so I have to bring two to a calligrapher to get them done. Also, before my envelopes went into production i sent her a revised address and she confirmed she got it but never printed the envelope like I asked.

My extra envelopes did not come with any design though.

Thanks girls! I'm not trying to be anal or annoying!

She got back to my first email about the return addresses right away. Now I have to write her another one about the missing response card and the missing layer on one of the invites and the design on the envelopes. The smudging on the envelopes doesn't bother me enough to say anything to her b/c they will prob get smudges on them in the mail anyway.

Did anyone have any problems with the wedding day stationary? I would hate to have those kind of problems that are last minute with not enough time to fix.

i had like 10 response envelope upside down, 1 resp. card missing and an uneven amount of extras. i emailed her late thursday night and i got all of the corrections today! i was so psyched! she's been nothing but awesome thru this whole process

eta these are all little mistakes that i just chalked up to human error. no biggie

um i hate to say anything, but it's little
at a recent wedding i was at, one of the programs was messed up..the inside was upside down

something small though..

these are all teeny things. and she fixes anything thats her fault right away. no biggie, no stress.

I must say, I didn't have any problems.

My extra envelopes did have the return address on the back, but nothing on the front. Probably because the design was a border above and below the address so it would've been hard to do that with extras.
