'Here comes the bride' or something else?

'Here comes the bride' or something else?

It's almost time to choose the ceremony/reception music and I was wondering what alternate music can be done when the wedding party and I walk down the aisle?

We have a grand piano in the room and a piano player for the ceremony. It isn't in a church and we are unconventional people so any suggestion is welcome!

none of that for me. Just not my style.

I haven't decided for sure, but I'm thinking about walking in to 'All I Ask of You' from Phantom of the Opera and then out to 'I'll Cover You' from Rent. I just have to clear them with FH because although I am a big theater nerd, he definitely is not, so I'm not sure how he'll feel about it.

Canon in D for the BP
Either Here Comes the Bride or Trumpets Voluntary for me

I just listened to Canon in D and it was used in a commercial for something that I would rather not mention (don't want to ruin it). But I would only be thinking of that commercial while hearing it and it's not something I want to think of on my wedding day!

My niece is going to be singing that at the ceremony, my Mom's idea. She's a great singer, I had just never heard the song. But she's singing Barbra Streisand's version because it's not a duet.

Keep 'em coming ladies! I'll be listening to your songs, see if any of them 'fit'
